About Ms. Burton

I have been working as a school library media specialist/teacher librarian for over 20 years. I have worked in Durham, Wake and Alamance County school systems. So what do I enjoy most about my job? Watching kids get excited about books, reading and technology!

When I am not working in the library, I enjoy of course reading, taking long hikes, meeting people, traveling, and watching spy thrillers. I read a wide variety of books, but I mostly enjoy reading historical fiction, mysteries, social issues, legal thrillers, and survivor stories. Oh, and I am a political junkie as well.
